On March 30, 2022. in The Bulgarian Industrial Assoation signed a tripartite memorandum for cooperation in the sectors - electric mobility, renewable energy sources and cooperatives.

The Chairman of the Board of BIA, Dobri Mitrev, welcomed the chairmen of the National sector organization - EVIC, Cooperative Cluster and Renewable Energy Cluster. The associations unite their efforts for the development of electric mobility and renewable energy sources in Bulgaria and the Balkan region. As a nationally recognized employers' organization, the BIA supports the efforts of domestic entrepreneurs to create new market niches and implement innovations in business.

The start of a project for the construction of new solar parks and their connection with management through smart grids is forthcoming.  A valuable partner will be the numerous sites, part of the cooperative cluster, on whose grounds will be part of the parks. Thus, the kind of energy cooperatives will produce so-called "Green energy", which will be targeted for charging stations and networks for electric vehicles.

EVIC will support the project with participation in the development of charging infrastructure, improvement of the regulatory framework, development of the CCEM model for vocational, secondary and higher education, creating a logistics and courier company consuming only green energy.

The startup company BullCharge will also be involved in the project. Bulgarian business no longer has the right to be a passive observer of the rapid development of world economies.

Bulgaria has its own history and good examples of innovation and leadership, the introduction of new technologies and good business practices. New technologies and the connection between them are a real opportunity that Bulgarian society should not sleep.
