Bulgarian invention secures the electric vehicles

Weare all accustomed to the noise of the cars. The usual sound whichis issued during the movement comes from the internal-combustion engine. Electric cars were gaining popularity, because they don’t n have such engine and thereforethey are completely silent. At first sight, this is an advantage, but it can be dangerous while driving in an urban environment and lead to accidents.

To solve this problem, Bulgarian team headed by Prof. Georgi Pavlov from the Higher School of Transport Todor Kableshkov - Sofia, developed a simulatorof sound effects for electric vehicles. The invention has been patented and is now the subject of interest at home and abroad. The simulator brought the students from the University Kableshkov  - Sofia, Radoslav Katsov and Ivaylo Nenov certificates for the contest for young inventors of the Eureka.

This yearthe expert jurydidn’taward the prestigious big prize, but distinguished two groups with certificates. In addition to the invention of noise Radoslavand Ivaylo impressedthe jury with their work on the device for the remote management and control of electromechanical systems. It is a module that can manage consumers at large distances. The invention may find application in electronics and energy, including household appliances.

Young researchers  are 4th course students in the specialty  “Energetics and Energetic equipment”.“I chose to do science in the country, although the situation is not encouraging. I think that sooner or later the man returns to his birthplace andIdecided to try to build my career in Bulgaria”, said Radoslav . In addition to the projectshe is engaged in the development of machines with programmable control - controllers and drivers in the area of electronics and robotics. They are finding application in the manufacture of machinery for metallurgytoo. “We worked on the theoretical part three years. Another half year took the technical production andthe testing” - claims Peter Stefanov. “There is still no interest from investors to the invention, the interest in electric vehicles will now rise and their mass productionwill begin soon”, heisconvinced about this. He graduated masters in electrical engineering and is working in his specialty in Metropolitan - Sofia. “There is an old saying that the stone its weight. That is why I want to do here in Bulgaria. Much better is to fight and work here than looking for an easier way out”, said the young inventor and says he is optimistic about the future of their country. Plamen Slavchevis of the same mind with his colleague. They are already working on a new project - cooling system of electrical engine, which is still only a theory.

The young inventors received certificates to thestateceremony. Guests of the event were members of parliament, representatives of the Presidential Administration, the Director of Science MES Mariela Deliverska, Vice-Chairmanof BAS academician Damian Damianov and Chairman of the national patent offices Prof. Kamen Veselinov .
