On 22-nd of November 2016, in Bulgarian Industrial Association – BIA, EVIC held the first meeting of the new kind of Initiative group for “Sustainable system for preparation of cadres specialized in the field of Electric mobility”.

Five years ago EVIC initiated and substantiated before NAVET the creation of two new majors – Mechanic and Technician of EVs. The member of EVIC – Petar Yovchev and Sons LTD in Yambol is the first licensed center for Professional training in these two new majors in Bulgaria.

In this Initiative group participates many experts – Stefan Apostolov, Natalia Alexandrova, Yordan Merakov, and representatives of Bulgarian universities – Prof. Ivan Milenov and Prof. Ognyan Manolov.

Very important parts of the group are the two Professional High Schools – PHTE Henry Ford, represented by the School Principal eng. Tanyo Stoychev and the PH Velizar Peev – Svoge, represented by the School Principal eng. Stancho Atanasov and Deputy School Principal – eng. Rositsa Staykova. Both High Schools signed partnership agreement with EVIC for cooperation in the field of Electric mobility.

EM is new sphere for professional development entering extremely fast in our day-life, and it is developing even faster from technological aspect. The preparation of these cadres who to specialize in EM and to develop together with EM is key moment in the education and training of the Bulgarian students and undergraduates.
