Speaking to the European Parliament, Bulgarian MEP Peter Krumbassev said:

- It is disappointing that the European Commission has failed to propose specific targets for zero-emission vehicles in the 'Clean Mobility' package. The definition of such in the field of energy efficiency and in the area of ​​emissions trading and RES results in results.

It is also good to have incentives in public procurement for electric vehicles. There are a number of countries already actively investing in public transport (eg China, the Netherlands where it is also invested in hydrogen powered vehicles).

Tax incentives for electric vehicles should also be encouraged.
