The conference was held on 12-13 of October experience and good practices exchange in the issue with air pollution in urban environment, organized by  “Green Sofia” Sofia Municipality.

The event was officially opened by the Mayor of Sofia – Yordanka Fandukova, together with Neno Dimov – Minister of MOEW, George Kremlis – representative of the European Commission and other representatives of Sofia Municipality.

During the first day the experience of some European municipalities was represented – Paris, Wien, Tallinn, Bucharest, Amsterdam and Riga, in the presence of international experts from Europe and USA. During the second day guests were different innovative companies from Bulgaria, Europe, India and USA, who presented their technological solutions to tackle with the air pollution. This was during the competition "Sofia Urban Challenge" – open innovations for clean air in Sofia. The initiative was organized by “Cleantech Bulgaria” Foundation – member of EVIC and Climate-KIK, with the support of “Green Sofia” Sofia Municipality.

The Jury was meant to broadcast winners for 1-st, 2-nd and 3^rd place but since two of the competitors were equally evaluated,they both took first place, so there were two companies with first place and one on third place.
